Kevin Marshall qualifies for Paris to Colmar - Longest non-stop road walking competition in the world
After participating in the Bourges 200km/ 24 Hours, where I completed 177.5km within 24 hours. I earned an invitation to the 2008 Paris Colmar, (18th June to 21st June). The race starts on the outskirts of Paris and finishes in Colmar a distance of 451km.
England has had four succesful Paris Colmar racers, two male (Colin Young in the 70’s and Richard Brown in the 90’s), and two ladies, Sandra Brown and Jill Green both in the 90’s (the ladies' race is slightly shorter at around 300km). The video of Richard and Sandra's race in 1990 can be viewed here

This website provides background information to my attempt at this gruelling race and will continue to record my success (hopefully). To participate in Paris Colmar requires a lot of support. Every walker needs A support team of around 8 people.
Sponsorship is urgently sought to underwrite the cost of this race. Please contact us if your company is willing to consider supporting me.
